Nightalk (2022)

Brenda (Ashley Bryant) is a police officer with a dark and troubled past, making her the perfect candidate for a new undercover assignment in the flick Nightalk (2022). The film takes its name from an in-film hookup app that Brenda heard about from her friend Dixie (Emily Andrews), an unfortunate turn of events when a woman turns up dead after having met a man on the app. With the help of her partner Jimmy (Ted Hallett), Brenda decides to go undercover on the app as she bears a striking resemblance to said victim, hoping to lure out the killer. Of course, this proves to be a rather dangerous plan, especially once she starts falling for Tom (Al Mukadam), a particularly strong suspect in the case.
