Every so often a nude scene gets paired with a song that, for better or worse, ends up making it that much more memorable, and this Tunes-day we’ve more skin-ema celebrating a big anniversary this year. Our featured film has several musically-backed nude scenes that are sure to light your fire, because today’s Songs in the Key of Nudity is devoted to the 1991 rock biopic The Doors.
Any nudity set to the sounds of one of the most influential bands of the 60s is going to be great. There are no misses here, only hits in this film anchored by a knockout performance (and some impressive vocals) from Val Kilmer as iconic frontman Jim Morrison. With The Doors, you get the holy trinity of sex, drugs, and rock’n’roll… though we’re mainly interested just two of the three.

Twenty-five years ago on March 1st, lucky theatergoers got a first look at the breathtaking bare breasts of blonde babe Christina Fulton. She slips of her top while riding in an elevator with Kilmer’s Morrison just as he does a bump of cocaine, all to the sounds of The Doors’ classic “Strange Days.” A day where a random woman shows off her boobs is strange, surely, at first, but we’re guessing Morrison got used to it over time.

Another great music and nudity mashup happens a few minutes later when he’s getting it on with Kathleen Quinlan. We’re treated to her terrific T’n’A while listening to “End of the Night,” only for it to morph into Carl Orff’s epic cantata “Carmina Burana” as they do more coke, partake in a blood ritual, flit around manically, and then get back to banging.

This three minute-long scene of Kathleen in the buff is the best nudity of the film, which also includes a little topless moment from Meg Ryan that is sadly soundtrack-free. To reference the famous Doors song “LA Woman,” Mr Mojo won’t be the only thing risin’!
